Help shape Workstride
We are inviting Inclusive Employment Australia providers to help shape Workstride before launch.
Workstride is being built for accreditation by DEWR as a Third Party Employment System. It is not yet accredited.
What taking part could involve
-
Work with the team on the product
Walk through Workstride as it stands, on sample data, with the people building it, and show us how your sites run today.
-
Test it on sample data
Try each part against the work your consultants, claims team and Security Contact do today, on the invented Northfold Employment world, and tell us what is missing.
-
Help decide what comes next
One product for every provider: what you ask for goes into Workstride for everyone, never into a private version just for you.
What does not change
Taking part does not change what Workstride is or how it is sold. Every provider gets the same product and the same standard terms. No provider gets special code or access to anyone else's data.
No Inclusive Employment Australia provider is using Workstride today, and none has signed on as a founding, design or reference provider. If that changes, we will say so plainly, here and wherever else it matters.
Note
There are no discounts, references or case studies to offer yet, because Workstride has no customers yet. What we can offer is time with the team and a say in what gets built next.
What it cannot do
Taking part does not move any of these gates. DEWR sets the order and the pace for all of them.
| Gate | Who decides | State | Last changed |
|---|---|---|---|
| The company that operates Workstride is formed | Us | Not started | Not yet |
| DEWR engaged | Us | Not started | Not yet |
| An information security management system, scoped and independently assessed | Us, then an independent assessor | Not started | Not yet |
| DEWR accreditation of the Workstride system | DEWR | Decided by DEWR | Not yet |
| A current Third Party IT Vendor Deed | DEWR | Decided by DEWR | Not yet |
| Your organisation's written approval from the Department | The Department | Not started | Not yet |
| Your organisation's advice to DEWR | Your organisation | Not started | Not yet |
| Approval for any use of AI with participant data | The Department and DEWR | Not started | Not yet |
| Live Department extracts and web services | DEWR | Decided by DEWR | Not yet |
States, not dates: Not started, In progress, Done on a date, or Decided by DEWR, which means the step is DEWR's to take, in its own order and time. Last reviewed 17/09/2026.
Note
Your organisation seeks the Department's written approval and advises DEWR before use (Part A 7.2.2, Deed 42.3(a)). We plan to supply a standard notice pack and release notes to support both, but helping shape Workstride does not shorten either step, and we do not publish go-live dates.
