A walkthrough shows Workstride on sample data, tailored to the roles your organisation sends, with the status of every part said out loud.

Workstride is being built for accreditation by DEWR as a Third Party Employment System. It is not yet accredited.

What a walkthrough covers

We show Workstride on sample data from the invented Northfold Employment world, never anything of yours or anyone else's. You choose the parts: My work and deadlines, placements and claims, post placement and ongoing support, file notes and evidence, employers and jobs, staff access and training, migration, or your brand.

For every part we show, we say its status out loud: In the build means a first version exists and runs on sample data, Planned means it is on our roadmap and not built yet, and Waiting on approval means it needs a decision from the Department or DEWR, a supplier agreement, or legal sign-off. Nothing planned or waiting is shown as if it already worked.

We also walk through how Department approval and DEWR advice work for an organisation like yours: DEWR needs to accredit the Workstride system and we need to hold a Third Party IT Vendor Deed, then your organisation seeks the Department's written approval and advises DEWR before using Workstride with participant data (Part A 7.2.2, Deed 42.3(a)).

Note

A walkthrough is a conversation, not a sales pitch with a countdown. There is nothing to sign, and nothing starts until you decide it should.

How long it takes, and who to bring

There is no fixed length. A short look at one part takes less time than a session covering claims, finance and access together. Tell us what you want to see in the form below, and we will let you know how long to set aside before we meet.

Bring whoever would use the parts you want to see, and at least one person who can speak to what your team needs next. Providers usually bring a mix of these:

  • A chief executive or board member
  • A site or regional manager
  • An employment consultant
  • Someone from the central claims team
  • Someone from finance
  • Your Security Contact or a compliance lead
  • Someone from IT or security

“The Provider must not use the [Third Party IT Vendor] until the Provider has: (a) obtained the Department's written approval to use the [Third Party IT Vendor]; and (b) advised DEWR that the Provider is using the [Third Party IT Vendor].”

Where things stand

Book a walkthrough on sample data. Using Workstride with participant data first needs DEWR to accredit the Workstride system and us to hold a Third Party IT Vendor Deed, then your organisation's written approval from the Department (Part A 7.2.2). A walkthrough does not change that order or skip a step in it.

What happens next

  1. We read what you sent

A person reads every form, matches your roles and topics to the right parts of Workstride, and checks nothing you have asked for is still a sketch.

  2. We reply to set a time

We suggest times that suit your team by email, and confirm what the session will and will not cover.

  3. The walkthrough itself

Sample data only, with the status of every part said out loud. Nothing about your participants is asked or needed to run the session.

Looking for help with your own employment services?

This page is for organisations that deliver Inclusive Employment Australia, not for people receiving support. If you are a participant, family member or support worker, please contact your provider or the National Customer Service Line on 1800 805 260 instead of using this form.

Privacy and this form

We collect your name, work email and organisation to reply to you, and anything else you choose to add, such as your role, workspace, number of sites or a message. We use these details only to arrange and prepare for a walkthrough, and to reply if you ask us something else.

Workstride's operating entity is still being settled. Once it is, we will name it here and in a published privacy policy. Until then, enquiries are read and answered by the people building Workstride.
